Several years ago I started talking about “Get Your SharePoint Project Started Right.”  There have been precious few who’ve seen this presentation in its 2007 format.  However, it seems like more and more people are hearing about one of the handouts that is a part of that presentation.  It’s a grid.  It maps different kinds of risks and which ones map to the various kinds of SharePoint projects.

Obviously, getting the whole presentation is better than just the handout – but the handout will certainly give you a starting point for getting your arms around your SharePoint project.
